ENSAI Ranks 4th in the 2026 Eduniversal Ranking of the Best Master’s Programs in Big Data & Data Sciences
In 2026, ENSAI’s Master’s in Smart Data Science moved up one spot to rank 4th in the Eduniversal national ranking of the best master’s programs in Big Data & Data Sciences. It also maintained its 2nd-place ranking in the Brittany and Normandy regional ranking for the Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data category.
Each year, Eduniversal publishes a series of rankings of the best Master’s, Specialized Master’s®, and MBA programs across 15 categories. These rankings, published on the Meilleurs-Masters.com website, serve as a benchmark for students, whether they are studying in France or abroad.
ENSAI in the Eduniversal 2026 Ranking
The national ranking of the best Master’s, Specialized Master’s®, and MBA programs in Big Data & Data Sciences features 35 programs offered at French higher education institutions.
Ranked 4th, ENSAI’s Master for Smart Data Science moved up one spot compared to the 2025 ranking. It ranks behind programs offered by the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and ENSAE Paris, a public engineering school belonging to the same higher education group as ENSAI.

Eduniversal also publishes regional rankings, highlighting top-tier programs available in eight regions or groups of regions, as the top spots in the national rankings are generally occupied by programs offered at institutions in the Paris region.
ENSAI’s Master’s in Smart Data Science has retained its second-place ranking for the fourth consecutive year in the regional top 10 for Brittany and Normandy in master’s programs in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data.

Methodology
Eduniversal’s ranking of the best Master’s, MS and MBA programs evaluates programs, not institutions. Eduniversal ranks existing programs, i.e. not just the programs that respond to the survey.
Each ranking is based on 3 main criteria: the reputation of the course, the starting salary, and students’ satisfaction feedback.

Master for Smart Data Science
The Master for Smart Data Science at ENSAI is a unique and innovative program taught entirely in English. It combines advanced notions in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, and Computer Science and includes several units specific to this program, which can be used in developing Artificial Intelligence. This one-year degree prepares graduates for exciting careers as highly qualified Data Scientists in numerous sectors and opens the door to PhD studies for a career in research.
