Nine out of Ten Graduates from the Class of 2024 Were Employed Five Months After Completing Their Engineering Course at ENSAI
ENSAI engineering graduates are rapidly recruited. Despite a still uncertain economic context and a slowdown in executive recruitment, highlighted by the latest job placement survey from the Conférence des grandes écoles (CGE), all indicators are favorable for the latest graduating class of Ensaiens.
The results – time to employment, type of contract and salary – show once again that the scientific and operational training of ENSAI engineering graduates clearly meets companies’ needs.
Great employment conditions
Job search times are short: 85% of positions are found within two months of graduation, and 70% before graduation.
More than half of employed graduates (56%) claim to have found a job thanks to their end-of-study internship.
86% of employed graduates have permanent contracts. Among the most recurrent job titles for the class of 2024: data analyst, risk analyst, data engineer, biostatistician, research manager… One position has always stood out over the years, representing 32% of hires: data scientist. This year, the rise of the artificial intelligence engineer is particularly noteworthy.
Average ENSAI salaries are above the average salary of graduates from all engineering schools
The strong demand for data science specialists ensures that salaries remain at a very high level: at €46,790 gross per year (in France, including bonuses), the salary of ENSAI graduates in 2024 is more than €4,600 higher than the average salary of all graduates from French engineering schools.
The job placement survey for new graduates: a reference for Grandes Écoles
Since 1993, the survey conducted by the Conférence des grandes écoles has provided a set of indicators to evaluate the match between the education offered by the grandes écoles and the job market. Coordinated and supervised by ENSAI on behalf of the CGE, the survey is carried out by the schools themselves during the first quarter and describes the career paths of the last three graduating classes.
