Eduniversal 2024 Ranking of the “Best Master’s in Big Data & Data Sciences”: ENSAI is in 6th place
The Master for Smart Data Science is once again in the top 10 of the Eduniversal ranking of the best Master’s programs in Big Data & Data Science. It retains its second-place ranking in the top 10 for Master’s in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data in Brittany and Normandy.
Each year, Eduniversal, a French university ranking company, publishes a set of rankings of the best Master’s, MS and MBA programs in 14 major categories. These rankings, published on the “Meilleurs Masters” website, are a reference for students in France and worldwide.

In 2024, the Big Data & Data Sciences ranking highlights the top 30 programs in this category.
ENSAI’s Master for Smart Data Science, in 6th place, is just behind courses offered by ENSAE Paris, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and Telecom Paris.

Since 2023, Eduniversal has been offering regional rankings. These rankings highlight top-level courses offered in eight French regions or double regions, whereas the top national rankings are usually occupied by Paris-based programs.
ENSAI’s Master for Smart Data Science remains in second place in the Brittany and Normandy top 10 regional rankings for Master’s in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.

Methodology
Eduniversal’s ranking of the best Master’s, MS and MBA programs evaluates programs, not institutions. Eduniversal ranks existing programs, i.e. not just the programs that respond to the survey.
Each ranking is based on 3 main criteria: the reputation of the course, the starting salary, and students’ satisfaction feedback.

Master for Smart Data Science
The Master for Smart Data Science at ENSAI is a unique and innovative program taught entirely in English. It combines advanced notions in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, and Computer Science and includes several units, specific to this program, which can be used in developing Artificial Intelligence.
