During your time at ENSAI
Language courses
Non-francophone international students at ENSAI pursuing the Engineer Statistician degree must certify a minimum B2 level in French prior to graduation. Mastering French is also a good way to ensure students fit in well and enter the French job market without difficulty. As such, ENSAI organizes French as a Foreign Language (FLE) course for its international students free of charge. Tandem linguistic exchanges are also an option for international students to improve their French while meeting French students.

ENSAI Student Life
Student Life and Sustainability
ENSAI is committed to encouraging student involvement for a more just and sustainable community. Clubs like LEHO, the Welcome Team, and SenPsybles embody this committment to Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility. Students can also join the Sustainable Development Committee which includes both students and staff.
Sport at ENSAI
At ENSAI, sport is an integral part of student life! Practicing a sport is not only good for the body, it helps maintain emotional balance, relieves stress, and contributes to students’ socialization and integration. Whether it is learning to push oneself further or simply enjoying time with other students, sport is an essential part of creating physical and mental well-being. ENSAI has access to outdoor and indoor facilities on campus to organize tournaments, training, or friendly matches between students and staff (football, tennis, volleyball, basketball, badminton, pétanque, palet, table tennis).
Students and personnel also have access to a small gym at ENSAI, open from 7:30 to 19:30. The room includes 5 high-tech fitness machines (elliptical bike, stationary bike, treadmill, rowing machine, and spin cycle), workout mats, abdominal equipment, and two punching bags.
Activities Proposed at ENSAI
Football, basketball, volleyball, handball, tennis, badminton, cross-training, table tennis, and running.

Staying Healthy
Success in the classroom is impossible if students have physical or mental health issues. Students at ENSAI have access to the Student Health Services which are common to all public higher education institutions in Rennes. Non-EU students who are just arriving in France have a mandatory visit to ensure that there are no underlying issues that have gone undetected or to help students better find care for known chronic problems.
ENSAI students have access to mental health services via the BAPU Rennes. In addition, students have free access to an ENSAI psychologist.
