Objectives
As the subject is extremely vast and complex, students are offered a lively, didactic approach to the subject, the aim being to enable students who will be working in companies in the near future to understand certain essential practical notions of labor law.
Course outline
In addition to the course in amphitheatre, students are systematically offered an exercise to put the concept into practice after studying it. The common course (3 hours) covers the following concepts: Understanding where we come from to know where we are going (historical introduction to labor law, sources of labor law, absolute public order and social public order), labor law supervisory bodies, formation and performance of the employment contract, breach of the open-ended contract. For the practical sessions, the first hour of class will be devoted to the study of a chapter (modification of the employment contract, recruitment, fundamental rights of the employee). This will be followed by a practical case study, in which students will have to work in groups to answer a practical case. A reporter will be appointed for each group, and grading will take place on this occasion.
