An international week to promote student and staff mobility

To mark the first edition of ENSAI International Week, from October 13 to 17, ENSAI’s Office of International Relations and Humanities organized a series of events for the entire ENSAI community.

As part of the 9th edition of ErasmusDays

The aim of this international week was to raise awareness of all the international mobility opportunities available to students and employees.

“There was a focus on several topics: dual degrees, financing mobility, etc. We also welcomed partners such as the Rennes International Mobility Center for a drop-in session, and the 2PE European Projects Platform for a presentation on European project opportunities,” explains Marion Le Tilly, outgoing international mobility coordinator at ENSAI for students and staff.

Throughout the week, students and staff were able to attend conferences, interactive workshops, introductory sessions, and more informal, fun events organized by the clubs.

Internationalization at ENSAI

ENSAI places internationalization at the heart of its strategy, actively promoting openness, exchange, and cooperation at the European and global levels, without losing sight of the imperatives of national and continental sovereignty. The ENSAI approach towards internationalization targets both inclusivity and sustainability .

To achieve this ambition, the ENSAI implements incentives, and even mandatory measures, aimed at promoting the international mobility of its students. For example, engineering students are required to spend at least 16 weeks outside France during their studies. This experience can take the form of an academic exchange, a double degree, or an internship. Although this requirement does not apply to them, civil servant students in the public statistics program are strongly encouraged to gain international experience during their studies via specific opportunities geared toward them.
