Following a notable surge in applications this year, 26 students will begin the one-year program.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/ensai.fr\/en\/2-cursus\/msc-statistics-for-smart-data\/\">master&#8217;s program<\/a> is taught entirely in English and includes a semester of intensive courses, followed by a 4- to 6-month internship in a company or research laboratory.<\/p>\n<h3>Welcome to ENSAI!<\/h3>\n<p>Students were welcomed by <a href=\"https:\/\/ensai.fr\/en\/equipe\/portier-francois\/\">Fran\u00e7ois Portier<\/a>, the program&#8217;s head, St\u00e9phane Legleye, ENSAI&#8217;s director of studies, and C\u00e9cile Terrien, the program coordinator.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I am delighted that this new cohort includes an even greater number of brilliant students. This reflects the growing appeal of our program and its relevance to current scientific and societal issues,&#8221; said Fran\u00e7ois Portier.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The class of 2026 is particularly cosmopolitan, with students representing 13 different nationalities: Benin, Cameroon, China, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Ivory Coast, Morocco, the Netherlands, Senegal, Sri Lanka, and Tunisia. Several students joined the master&#8217;s program through <a href=\"https:\/\/ensai.fr\/en\/2-cursus\/doubles-diplomes\/\">double degree programs<\/a> between ENSAI and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eur.nl\/en\/ese\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ESE Rotterdam<\/a>, La <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uniroma1.it\/it\/pagina-strutturale\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sapienza University in Rome<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unibo.it\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Bologna<\/a>. Others are Erasmus students from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tu-dortmund.de\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TU Dortmund<\/a>, La Sapienza, and the University of Bologna.<\/p>\n<h3>Applications Are on the Rise<\/h3>\n<p>During the last admissions campaign, applications flooded in. One reason for the growing interest among applicants is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meilleurs-masters.com\/master-big-data-data-sciences.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eduniversal ranking of the best master&#8217;s degrees in Big Data and Data Science in France<\/a>, in which the Master for Smart Data Science has been highly ranked for several years. Additionally, the global alumni community, active in business and research sectors, contributes to the program&#8217;s reputation.<\/p>\n<p>The selection criteria remain high due to the intensity of the program. Applicants must have at least a four-year degree and demonstrate solid knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and computer science.<\/p>\n<h3>ENSAI&#8217;s Master for Smart Data Science<\/h3>\n<p>ENSAI&#8217;s program is unique and innovative, combining advanced concepts in statistics, applied mathematics, and computer science. Several subjects, taught by faculty researchers and professionals, apply to the field of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>After completing a year of training, graduates can pursue a career as a highly qualified data scientist in many sectors.
