On July 3rd 2024, Campus France<\/a>‘s <\/span><\/b>l<\/span><\/b>abeling Commission awarded ENSAI the <\/span><\/b>highest level <\/span><\/b>of the <\/span><\/b>Bienvenue <\/span><\/i><\/b>en<\/span><\/i><\/b> France <\/span><\/i><\/b>(<\/span><\/b>Welcome to France<\/span><\/b>)<\/span><\/b> label, underlining the relevance <\/span><\/b>and quality <\/span><\/b>of the measures deployed in favor of international students. \u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

International students make up more than a quarter of the school’s student body. Joining a new school, especially abroad, can be challenging for a student. The Bienvenue en France<\/em> label <\/a>attests to the quality of ENSAI’s efforts to provide information, a warm welcome, easy access to courses, good quality of life on campus, and post-graduate support to its international students.<\/p>\n

A strong and growing investment in international students<\/h3>\n

In 2020, ENSAI was awarded the level 2 Bienvenue <\/i>en<\/i> France<\/i> label for the first time. The move from level 2 to level 3, the highest level of accreditation, reflects the accrediting committee’s recognition of ENSAI’s commitment to improving its services for international students.<\/p>\n

\u201cENSAI is very proud to have <\/em>renewed its Bienvenue en France label , and at the highest level. Obviously, the International Relations and Humanities team here is heavily involved and very committed to the quality of the welcome we offer our international students. But more importantly, what this label highlights is our collective success at ENSAI, and how students and staff rally together to ensure that all students, including international ones, have the best possible experience, from the moment they are admitted to their graduation and <\/em>professional integration.<\/em>\u201d \u00a0Todd Donahue, Head of the International Relations Department<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

ENSAI’s support measures include online information sessions following admissions, a welcome service at Rennes train station, the \u201cWelcome Kit\u201d (full of useful items to help students settle into student accommodation), and the services and support offered by CMI Rennes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ensuring quality conditions for international students with the Bienvenu<\/i>e en France <\/i>Label<\/h3>\n

The <\/span>Bienvenue <\/span><\/i>en<\/span><\/i> France<\/span><\/i> l<\/span>abel was created in 2018 by Campus France to encourage<\/span> improvements<\/span> within higher education establishments and to guarantee the best possible <\/span>conditions for <\/span>welcoming <\/span>international students. It is awarded to higher education establishments for a period of 5 years. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To date, 157 French <\/span>higher education institutions<\/span> have been awarded the label. The label is granted based on an online self-assessment by the <\/span>institution<\/span>, consisting of a documented dossier and evidence based on a <\/span>framework of 6 fields of application and 28 indicators. This self-assessment is followed by a site visit by independent experts the following year. \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
