Founded in 1994 in Paris, ENSAI’s home has been the Ker Lann Campus<\/strong>, on the outskirts of Rennes since 1996<\/strong>. ENSAI is THE<\/span> grande \u00e9cole<\/em> (a prestigious higher education establishment in France) for statistical engineering<\/strong> and\u00a0 information analysis <\/strong>that prepares its students to become Data Scientists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

ENSAI, along with ENSAE Paris, make up the Grouping of National Economics and Statistics Schools<\/strong> (GENES), a public higher education and research establishment attached to the Ministry for the\u00a0 Economy and Finance<\/strong> of France.<\/strong><\/p>\n

ENSAI is accredited by the French Accreditation Board for Engineering Education<\/strong> (la Commission des titres d\u2019ing\u00e9nieur – CTI<\/em>) to award a Master’s level engineering degree<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

ENSAI trains civil servant statistician students who go on to work for INSEE – the National Institute of Statistics and Economics Studies – as official civil servants<\/strong>. INSEE ensures the technical supervision<\/strong> of GENES.<\/p>\n

\"logoENSAI is a member of the\u00a0 Conf\u00e9rence des grandes \u00e9coles <\/strong><\/em>(a French national institution). Founded in 1973, the CGE includes 223 grandes \u00e9coles<\/em> (in engineering, management, architecture, design, political sciences institutes, etc.) all of which are recognized by the French government and authorized to award Master level diplomas.<\/p>\n

The Master in Data Science for Public Decision-Making is one of the courses offered within the Master in Applied Mathematics and Statistics co-accredited with the University of Rennes. The only French course to be certified as a European Master in Official Statistics (EMOS)<\/strong>, a label awarded by Eurostat<\/a>, this Master’s degree trains experts in public statistics and decision support.<\/p>\n
